Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to sell you a book and deliver it: your email address and your payment details. Payment details go to Stripe, not to us. We never sell your data.

What we collect, and why

Marketing emails

You only receive marketing emails if you opted in at checkout. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent. Transactional emails (your receipt and download link) are sent regardless, because they are part of delivering your purchase.

How long we keep data

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below); we will do so except where the law requires us to keep records.

Who we share data with

Only service providers needed to run the store: Stripe (payments and receipts), our website host (Vercel), and — if you opted into emails — our email service provider. Each processes data under their own GDPR-compliant terms. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email ebookhelp.support@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Malta, that is the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
